Esker - Ontario 2 Winter Tent Stove
Esker Ontario 2 Winter Tent Stove
For smaller groups and solo travellers who want efficient heat without carrying more stove than they need, the Ontario 2 is the lightest and most compact option in Esker's elbow-pipe stove lineup.
The Ontario 2 is purpose-built for tents that use a side wall stove pipe ring, particularly the Classic 2 10' x 10'. The adjustable elbow pipe directs the stack away from the tent canvas at a variable angle, which keeps creosote embers clear of the fabric and removes the need for a spark arrestor. It's the same thoughtful design philosophy found across the Classic 2 and stove lineup, applied to a stove sized for tighter spaces and lighter loads.
Built by Kni-Co from 22-gauge cold rolled steel, the Ontario 2 delivers a 25.7 L burn chamber with a damper and air intake door that make dialling in burn rate and temperature straightforward. At 8.9 kg packed, it's the most packable stove in Esker's elbow-compatible range. Snow float legs stabilise the unit using branches or poles on site, and all pipes nest inside the stove box for clean, organised transport.
