Esquif - Ocoee

Few whitewater canoes carry the kind of history the Ocoee does. Originally designed by Frankie Hubbard, this hull changed how paddlers thought about what an open canoe could do on a river -- front surfing, pivot turns, and technical moves that were previously out of reach became accessible in a way they hadn't been before.

The hard chines and flat bottom are the engine behind that performance. They create a predictable, responsive platform that rewards committed paddling and makes technical river features genuinely fun rather than stressful. At 40 lbs in T-Formex, it's light enough to carry to the put-in without a second thought and durable enough to take the kind of punishment that whitewater dishes out over a full season.

Esquif builds the Ocoee with float bag cages and a bulkhead saddle as standard, giving you a solid starting point for a properly outfitted whitewater canoe. Kevlar skid plates, ash gunwales, and a bilge pump are available as custom order upgrades for paddlers who want to build it out further.
