The Malone EcoLight MPG586XJ package pairs the EcoLight Sport Trailer with two J-style kayak carriers designed for traditional V-style hulls, giving you a complete two-kayak hauling system at an accessible price point. The marine-grade galvanised steel frame is built for years of regular use at boat ramps and lake accesses across Canada, and the leaf spring suspension and galvanised heavy-duty axle keep the rig stable and smooth at highway speeds up to 65 mph. At just 145 lb without accessories and 10'9" in length, this is a genuinely compact trailer that stores and manoeuvres easily.
DOT and Transport Canada approved submersible LED lighting is pre-tested and ready to go, and the flat four-wire harness connects to most tow vehicles without modification. Load bars sit at 26" off the ground with a fixed 38.5" spread, and the two-piece extended tongue handles kayaks and canoes up to 14' in length. Assembles in three to five hours with common shop tools.
