Nemo - Javelin Tent Stake

Nemo Javelin Tent Stake (each)

A stake that bends, pulls out, or snaps under a mallet blow is one of those small failures that has a way of ruining an otherwise solid camp setup. The NEMO Javelin is built to make that a non-issue.

Forged steel construction gives the Javelin a toughness that aluminium stakes simply can't match in hard, rocky ground, and the T-shape profile resists the off-angle strikes that happen when you're driving stakes into roots or gravel. The wide striking head gives you a clean target with a mallet or rock, and the cleat locking system streamlines cord tensioning so guy lines stay where you set them without constant adjustment. At 12 inches, it bites deep enough to hold in a variety of soil conditions, from the sandy shores of a canoe campsite to the packed earth of a trailhead site.

It's sold individually, which makes it easy to replace a single lost or damaged stake or supplement a lightweight stake kit with a few bomber anchors for the guy lines that matter most in a storm.

  • Material: Forged steel
  • Shape: T-shape with cleat locking system
  • Dimensions: 0.4 x 1 x 12 in / 1 x 3 x 30 cm
