A good yoke makes the difference between a portage you push through and one you barely notice. This ash dished yoke from Nova Craft is shaped with a contoured profile and a centre notch that takes the pressure off your spine, so the canoe sits comfortably on your shoulders rather than grinding into your neck.

At 36 inches wide it fits a range of Nova Craft hulls, and like all Nova Craft ash trim, it can be trimmed down for a precise fit. Ash is warm to the touch, doesn't conduct heat or cold, and holds up well to the kind of regular use a portage yoke gets on a serious tripping canoe.

Hardware is sold separately. Most installations use a 2.5-inch bolt set.
