The P15 stays completely faithful to the original Prospector lines, so the responsive, confidence-inspiring feel is all there. The shorter hull makes it quicker to manoeuvre and more fun to push around, which makes it a genuinely capable tandem play boat as well as a solid tripping canoe for paddlers who travel lighter or on shorter routes. If the 17' feels like more canoe than you need, the 15' is worth a serious look.
