P&H - Scorpio II HV
For paddlers who need more volume, more room, and a higher weight capacity without giving up the expedition-ready feature set that makes the Scorpio II a standout, the HV delivers all of it in a longer, wider CoreLite X hull built for larger paddlers and heavier loads.
The hull follows the same progressive profile shared with the Cetus line, moving cleanly from a slender bow into a slightly V-shaped body with rounded chines. The result is a stable, smooth ride that tracks well and responds predictably on edge across open water, coastal routes, and the kind of big Canadian lake crossings where conditions can change quickly. The optional Skudder system pairs particularly well with this hull for paddlers who want precise directional control on long expedition days, and the deck-mounted skeg slider stays clear of high-angle paddle strokes.
The deck layout is built for serious use. Split paddle and compass recesses keep critical gear organised and at hand, moulded-in inserts accommodate a kayak sail mast foot, and high-strength full deck lines and bungees handle storage and rescue requirements. Bungee-retained ergonomic toggle handles make carrying and deep water rescues more manageable, and the low-profile rear deck keeps rolling and re-entry accessible.
