P&H - Virgo LV - CLX
Smaller paddlers have historically had to make do with sea kayaks that weren't really built for them. The Virgo LV CLX fixes that with a properly sized 14-foot polyethylene hull that delivers the full Virgo feature set in a boat that fits and responds the way it should for lighter, smaller-framed paddlers.
The V-hull tracks cleanly and softens toward the centre for a stable, easy ride, while moderate rocker keeps things efficient on flat water and responsive on edge. Hard chines engage predictably when you lean into a turn, the steep bow keeps effective waterline long for genuine hull speed, and flared bow edges manage chop and lift the boat over waves on the way out from shore. Bow deck geometry is reinforced for deep water rescues, and the low rear deck makes rolling and re-entry accessible without a fight. The paddle shaft recess provides a dependable brace point on water entries.
KajakSport hatch covers seal the bulkheaded bow and stern hatches reliably, and P&H's Connect outfitting system delivers a comfortable, adjustable fit for long days on Canadian lakes and coastal routes. Split paddle recesses, a drop-forged anodised aluminium security point, a paddle park, and full deck lines and bungees complete a well-thought-out package. Available in CoreLite X or MZ3 construction.
