Running wires cleanly through a kayak hull for a fish finder pod, action camera setup, or battery system is one of those details that separates a well-rigged kayak from a messy one. The YakAttack GridLoc Through Hull Wiring Kit gives you the hardware to get it done properly.

Built around a 1" hole, this standard kit handles most common wiring applications including removable fish finder pods and smaller gauge wiring runs. It's also compatible with the GridLoc Mounting Platform on the BlackPak Pro, making it a practical solution for running wires through the crate when using it as a battery or electronics box. Installation doesn't require backside access to the hull, but does require a 1" hole and marine sealant for a waterproof seal. Fourteen rubber inserts covering seven common hole sizes from 0.08" to 0.389" in diameter are included, along with four blank inserts for custom applications. Two complete sets of hardware and two nylon grommets mean you can wire two locations from a single kit. For applications requiring connectors or components larger than 1" clearance, the XL version with a 1.5" hole is the better option.
