YakAttack - TowNStow BarCart w/ Sand Tires
TowNStow BarCart Kayak Cart with Sand Tires
For paddlers who want the most capable, versatile kayak cart available for soft surface launches, the TowNStow BarCart with Sand Tires sets a standard that's genuinely hard to match.
The BarCart's standout feature is its dual bunk configuration. The crossbar setup works well for pontoon-style or flatter hull shapes, while the traditional bunk orientation runs parallel to the hull for kayaks with a more pronounced V-shape. In bunk mode, six width positions cover hulls from 6.25" to 16" wide. The collapsible bunk bars run 44" deployed for even the widest fishing kayaks, then compress to under 18" via a heavy-duty ferrule and bungee system. The uprights fold parallel to the axle and the whole cart fits inside most kayak hulls, solving the common problem of leaving your cart unattended at the launch. A centre axle tie-down point accepts 1" cam straps or rope under 5/16" diameter, and four repositionable snap-on rubber bumpers protect the hull and keep the kayak from shifting.
Two kickstands support the cart at a stable loading angle and snap away when not in use. The air-filled balloon sand tires roll smoothly over sand and mud with sealed hubs to keep grit out, and swap to BeadLoc hard surface wheels with a push of a button. Everything adjusts and disassembles without tools.
