Hauling a loaded fishing kayak across a sandy beach or muddy launch is hard work without the right cart under it. The TowNStow Bunkster with Sand Tires is built to make that part of the day as painless as possible.

The Bunkster uses a bunk-style configuration where two parallel uprights run along the hull rather than contacting it at a single point, giving a more stable and secure carry position for a wide range of modern kayak hull shapes. The uprights slide along the axle and lock into six preset width positions from 6.25" to 16", covering most kayak widths without any tools. Four grippy snap-on rubber bumpers protect the hull and keep the kayak from shifting during transport, and an integrated centre axle tie-down point accepts 1" cam straps or rope up to 5/16" diameter for added security during the haul.

The whole cart breaks down into five components without tools and stows inside most kayak hatches, so you're not leaving it unattended at the launch while you park. Two kickstands, one per side, support the cart at a stable loading angle and snap out of the way when not in use. The air-filled balloon sand tires roll over soft surfaces with sealed hubs to keep grit out of the wheel assembly, and swap out for BeadLoc hard surface wheels with a push of a button.
