Zegul - Greenland GT - A-Core
Greenland rolling technique demands a kayak that works with your body, not against it, and the Zegul Greenland GT is built around exactly that idea.
Rooted in traditional Greenland kayak design, the GT is a refined take on the classic form. A slightly wider hull brings added stability for longer outings on open water, and the roomier keyhole cockpit makes getting in and out noticeably easier than a traditional ocean cockpit, without sacrificing the snug, connected feel that makes Greenland-style rolling so intuitive. The low-volume deck keeps you tight to the boat and close to the water, giving intermediate and advanced paddlers the precise body-to-kayak connection that technique-focused paddling requires.
Storage is more practical here than on a standard Greenland hull. The addition of a day hatch and an enlarged rear hatch means you can carry enough gear for a full day on the water or a coastal overnight without compromising the boat's clean lines. The hard chine running the full length of the V-bottom hull and the high rocker profile make the GT responsive and manoeuvrable in dynamic conditions, including surf and rock gardens. It comes in A-Core lay-up and is fitted with a retractable skeg for tracking in crosswinds and currents. A serious sea kayak for paddlers who want to develop their skills without giving up real-world utility.
