The Malone MicroSport MPG461GS package pairs the MicroSport base trailer with two sets of MegaWing kayak carriers, a V-style cradle system that carries boats in a bottom-down position. Sitting the kayaks flat rather than on their sides reduces wind resistance on the highway, which translates to better fuel efficiency and less stress on the hull during long drives. MegaWing carriers are well suited to recreational and sea kayaks with traditional centre beam hull designs, providing stable, secure support without complicated loading procedures.
The 11-gauge marine-grade galvanised steel frame is built for years of regular use at boat ramps and lake launches across Canada, and the reinforced tongue handles boats up to 20' in length. A galvanised spare tire with lockable attachment is included for added confidence on less-travelled access roads. Ships in six cartons and assembles with standard tools.
