The Malone MicroSport Base Trailer is the foundation that the entire MicroSport lineup is built on, balancing affordability, build quality, and design reliability in a way that has made it one of the most popular kayak trailers in North America. The 11-gauge pre-galvanised steel frame handles an 800 lb load capacity and boats up to 20' in length, with 78" load bars, adjustable crossbar spread, and D-ring tie-downs that are compatible with the full range of Malone kayak carriers and accessories. Marine-grade sealed bearings, pre-assembled hubs, and a pre-tested DOT-approved submersible LED lighting system mean the trailer is highway-ready and low-maintenance from the first trip out.

At 197 lb without accessories and 13'3" in length, it's a manageable trailer for a wide range of tow vehicles with a 2" Class II receiver hitch. This listing is for the base trailer only, without carriers. Available by special order only.
