The Astral Bowen carries the DNA of the beloved Blue Jacket and builds on it with a lighter, more refined design suited to everything from coastal sea kayaking to moving water. FoamTectonics architecture lets the jacket twist and flex with your upper body while staying firmly in place around your torso, so you get genuine freedom of movement without sacrificing fit or security. Buckled side entry makes getting in and out fast, even with cold or wet hands.
Storage is where the Bowen really stands out. The Clamshell Pocket opens wide across the front and organises into multiple internal compartments with dedicated space for a phone and a VHF radio. A shoulder strap lashtab adds quick-access real estate for smaller items, and reflective accents with a strobe light attachment point make this a credible choice for open water and low-light conditions.
