The Astral Loyak Women's is a lightweight paddling shoe built for active days on and around the water. Hydrophobic canvas wraps the foot for durability, while stretchy Airmesh at the vamp and tongue keeps airflow moving and locks down a secure, close fit. At just 162 grams per shoe, it's easy to forget you have it on until you actually need the grip.
Underfoot, the Flex Grip outsole uses Astral's G.15 rubber compound with razor siping and 3mm lugs to hold traction on wet rock, slick fibreglass, and everything in between. The outsole is also self-draining, so water moves through rather than pooling inside the shoe. The 45C closed-cell EVA midsole adds just enough cushioning to handle longer days without adding bulk or weight.
Two sets of flat, water-resistant laces in different colours come included, a small but practical detail that lets you swap for a fresh look or keep a spare on hand. The Loyak Women's is a versatile women's water shoe that works equally well for kayaking, SUP, boat days, and casual travel.
