Esker Classic 2 10'x10' & 12'x12' Winter Tent

The Classic 2 takes everything that works about the original Classic and adds one well-considered design change that meaningfully improves safety and performance around the stove.

Moving the stove pipe ring from the roof to the front right side wall is what defines the Classic 2. By using a stove with an adjustable elbow pipe, the stack exits the tent at an angle rather than straight up through the canvas, which keeps creosote embers clear of the fabric and removes the need for a spark arrestor. It's a practical upgrade for anyone doing extended winter camping, running a hunt camp, or simply spending enough time in a hot tent to care about how the stove and shelter work together. The adjustable air vent assists with temperature control and helps clear smoke when you're getting the fire started.

Built in Ontario from 10.10 oz Sunforger army duck cotton canvas with double-sewn, flat-felled seams, the Classic 2 meets Canadian tent and fire safety regulations and pitches without a pole kit. Stake the corners, guy out the sidewalls, and use a stave or branch from the surrounding bush as your centre support. Sewn drying line loops are included on all panels, a small detail that earns its keep on any multi-day winter trip.
