MSR - Evo™ Ascent Snowshoes
MSR Evo™ Ascent Snowshoes
When the trail ends and the terrain gets serious, the MSR Evo Ascent is built to keep up. Evolved from the legendary Denali lineup, these are snowshoes for winter hikers who venture off the packed path and into variable backcountry conditions.
The UniBody deck construction integrates steel traction rails and brake bars directly into the moulded deck, eliminating the weak points that come with bolted-on hardware and delivering grip that holds across icy traverses, uneven slopes, and unpredictable snow surfaces. TriFit bindings provide a secure, freeze-resistant fit across a wide range of footwear and are easy to work with gloves on, which matters when temperatures drop and dexterity goes with them. When the pitch steepens, the built-in Televator heel lifts engage with a simple glove-friendly pull tab, reducing calf fatigue and improving traction on sustained climbs through the Canadian backcountry.
Modular flotation tail attachment points give you the option to add 6-inch tails on demand when deeper powder or a heavier pack calls for more surface area, then remove them when you're back on packed terrain and want the manoeuvrability of a smaller frame.
