Standard hatch covers can implode under the pressure of breaking waves and aggressive whitewater, and the Hard Hat Cover is designed specifically to prevent that from happening. The reinforced cover installs with included straps and hardware, and pairs with a neoprene hatch insert that seals out water even when things get rowdy. The hatch area geometry also makes mounting a groover tube straightforward for paddlers heading out on multi-day Canadian river trips where leaving no trace is non-negotiable.
