The Malone MicroSport 12" Spare Tire is a full-size DOT-approved two-ply trailer tire rated to 785 lb and cleared for any posted speed limit in Canada and the United States, so it's a genuine road-ready spare rather than a temporary limp-home solution. The galvanised high-slotted rim resists corrosion through repeated exposure to saltwater ramps, muddy launches, and Canadian winter storage conditions, and the five-lug slotted wheel mounts directly to MicroSport trailer hubs without modification.

A galvanised anti-theft U-bracket mounts the tire securely to the trailer frame and accepts a lock for theft deterrence at campsites and trailheads (lock sold separately).
