When the route is long, the portages are steep, and you need your pack to carry everything without complaint, the Expedition is the one to reach for.
RBW's largest canoe pack runs 92.5 litres in the main body, with an attic cuff that pushes total capacity up to 125 litres for the trips where you genuinely need that room. The 1000-denier nylon construction with double-layer bottom handles rocky portage trails and hard seasonal use without breaking down, and the full-length foam back panel keeps the load from telegraphing through to your spine on a long carry. Padded shoulder straps and hip belt with yellow easy-snug adjustment straps, plus an adjustable sternum strap, give you a carry system that can be tuned to your body and your load. An optional internal frame is available for paddlers who want added load structure on more demanding routes.
Five padded grab handles across the front, back, and sides make loading and unloading from a canoe straightforward from any angle. The large zippered lid pocket opens cleanly under tension, side compression straps cinch the load tight, and daisy chains on the lid provide lash points for overflow gear. All handles, shoulder straps, and hip belt attachment points are reinforced at the stress points. Both the standard tumpline and Super Tump are available as optional add-ons for paddlers who want a traditional carry option alongside the shoulder straps.
